Islands exposed to Queen Charlotte Strait are rich in wildlife, with spectacular intertidal zones, sea lion haul outs and sea bird colonies. North of Broughton Island are several interesting sites such as Roaring Hole Rapids, Turnball Cove and Greenway Sound Marine Resort, a popular destination for boaters.
