Washburne Stern Wheel. FOR SEA KAYAKS AND ROWING SHELLS STERNWHEELS is compact, light and inexpensive. Small enough to stow in the boat fully assembled, though wheels remove easily. Quickly mounted on the boat's stern (rudders are no problem), it eases transporting single or double kayaks (the cart's capacity is about 75 lbs., keeping in mind that you carry the same weight at the other end). The cart can be left on the boat during car transportation or storage on a rack. An improved design enhances durability and accomodates most hull shapes (if it doesn't fit the stern, it may work fine on the bow). Adjustable pads allow fit to various hull shapes and minimize gelcoat wear. All parts are corrosion resistant, allowing launches in saltwater.
